$20.00Devil Sticks was commissioned by the Buffet Summer Academy. Equilibristics is the subtitle which refers to the art of balanc ing and physical juggling. Like many of McAllister's works, it blends modern classical techniques with driving, rhythmic grooves and moments of controlled chaos. The music is designed to sound as though it is constantly on the edge of falling apart — much li ke a frantic, fast - paced juggling routine.
